Ah, this flower is beautiful indeed. No wonder why it was chosen as Finland's national flower in 1967, and is protected.
I like how all parts in the composition and design support the shape of Lily of the Valley ("kielo" in Finnish), like this flower pattern in the background - it is a very nice idea! Aspects like these tells that artist knows what he/she is doing; no unnecessary stuff, only things that support each other.
As mentioned by other viewers, colours in this painting are nice and well controlled; Lily of the valley represents subtle beauty. I doubt if brighter colours would fit this scene? Mood would change, at least.
I love those flowers, my garden(which looks like a piece of forest) is full of them, their smell is my favourite Thanks to Hetalia I learned about national flowers for each European country, your is so nice ~~ Kielo is a very pretty name btw, in Poland we call it "konwalia". Thank you very much for a nice comment!

Your color palettes are always so delicate and well put together. The drawings themselves have such a peaceful air to them... I am insanely jealous of your talent! I love the hairpiece and the socks-- the sock especially are very unique. The Lily of the Valley is one of my favorite flowers.
The colors aren't lame--in fact, they give the piece this awesome dull-but-pretty-seems-surreal effect!!! Your shadows and highlighting are absolutely perfect and she's really pretty! I love the details, especially those flowers and the background.
